Koby McEwen’s Big Game Leads Weber State To Win Over Montana

SALT LAKE CITY – Wildcats guard Koby McEwen went off and led Weber State to a big conference win over the Montana Grizzlies.
The Wildcats hosted the Grizzlies on Thursday, February 3.
Weber State beat Montana, 90-85.

McEwen dropped 32 points on 5-12 shooting, including 3-7 from beyond the arc. He added three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the Wildcats’ victory.

After trailing by two points at the halftime break, the Wildcats responded in the second half.
The Grizzlies tied the game on a pair of free throws with four and a half minutes to go. Weber State closed the contest on a 13-8 run that was fueled by five points by McEwen in the final 22 seconds.
Weber State finished the contest shooting 43.4 percent overall and 33.3 percent from distance. Dillon Jones added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats.

With the win, the Wildcats improved their record to 18-5 this season, including 11-1 in Big Sky Conference action.
Weber State’s next game is at home against the Montana State Bobcats on Saturday, February 5 at 6 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
