Three Wildcats Reach 20 Points To Lead Weber State Over Eastern Washington

SALT LAKE CITY – Three members of the Weber State men’s basketball team scored at least 20 points to lead the Wildcats to a win over the Eastern Washington Eagles.
The Wildcats hosted the Eagles on Monday, January 31.
Weber State beat Eastern Washington, 90-84.
Jamison Overton, Koby McEwen, and Seikou Sisoho Jawara combined to score 64 of the Wildcats’ total.
Weber State rode a first half lead to victory as the Wildcats held off a late comeback attempt by the Eagles.
The Wildcats outscored the Eagles by 11 points in the first half but EWU won the final 20 minutes of action by five points.
Weber State’s first half lead was enough to hold off Eastern Washington.
The Wildcats finished the game shooting 53.7 percent from the field, including 33.3 percent on three-pointers.
McEwen led Weber State with 24 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Overton and Sisoho Jawara added 20 points apiece.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to a 17-5 record this season, including 10-1 in Big Sky Conference action.
Weber State’s next game is at home against the Montana Grizzlies on Thursday, February 3 at 7 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
