Olympic Village Officially Opens For Beijing 2022

SALT LAKE CITY – The Olympic Village officially opened ahead of the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing.
Three villages for the Winter Olympics were officially opened for athletes on Thursday, January 27.
Two of the villages are located in Beijing and another in the nearby city of Zhangjiakou.
“We will provide high-quality, hotel-like accommodations to over 1,000 guests over the next two months,” an official village representative told reporters.

The Olympic Village opened in a bubble-like atmosphere featuring strict regulations. The restrictions are in place to prevent issues involving the coronavirus.
The Winter Olympics are slated to run from February 4-20.
