Rams’ Matt Gay Kicks Game-Winning Field Goal To Beat Buccaneers

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay kicked a game-winning field goal to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers hosted the Rams for the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs on Sunday, January 23.
With four seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and the game tied at 27-27, the Rams snapped the ball for a field goal attempt.
Gay’s kick sailed through the uprights as time expired to lift Los Angeles over Tampa Bay.
The field goal put the Rams up for a final score of 30-27.

Gay finished the game 3/4 on field goals and 3/3 on PATs.
With the win, the Rams advanced to the NFC Championship Game.

Los Angeles will host the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC title game on Sunday, January 30 at 4:30 p.m. (MDT) on FOX.
