Mel Kiper Jr.: All Devin Lloyd Does Is Make Plays In Every Way On Defense

SALT LAKE CITY – ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. is a big fan of what he sees in Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd as the draft approaches.
Mel Kiper Jr., along with Todd McShay and Field Yates talked about Devin Lloyd the upcoming NFL Draft on their podcast “First Draft.”
They were discussing top prospects and potential landing spots for those players. Kiper will release his mock draft 1.0 on Wednesday.
“All this kid does is make plays in every way on defense,” Kiper said. “He’s intercepting pass, he’s batting down passes, he’s breaking up passes, he’s getting after the quarterback and getting sacks. He’s intercepting passes and returning them for touchdowns. He’s everywhere.”
Kiper put Lloyd with Georgia’s Nakobe Dean as the top linebackers in the draft.
“You have Nakobe Dean from Georgia, who is all over the field,” Kiper mentioned. “He’s the defensive signal caller. He’s the extension of your defensive coordinator. Nakobe Dean could go, I’m thinking nine to the Denver. I’m looking at Devin Lloyd maybe in the middle of the first round.”
The NFL Draft will take place April 28-30 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
