“My recruiting process has been full of ups and downs for the past 6 years,” Bottari wrote. “I would not be in this position without people who supported me to become a better man and a better football player. To my coaches at Serra, thank you for building the foundation for the leader and quarterback I needed to be. To the coaches at CSM, thank you for that second chance and the belief that you had in me to lead those football teams to championships. To the city of San Mateo, you have given me a platform and allowed me to be me way beyond the field for the past 6 years and I am forever grateful. To my family, especially my mom, we know what it is, thank you for making me who I am today. And to everybody else that had a hand in supporting me with this journey to know who you are and you are appreciated. With this being said, I am excited to announce I’ll be committing to the University of Utah.”
