Weber State Cruises Past Idaho State For Conference Road Victory

SALT LAKE CITY – The Weber State men’s basketball team used a big second half to cruise past the Idaho State Bengals for a Big Sky Conference win.
The Bengals hosted the Wildcats on Monday, January 17.
Weber State beat Idaho State, 78-61.

After the first half, the Wildcats and Bengals were tied 30-30 going to the halftime break.
Over the final 20 minutes of the contest, it was all Weber State.

Idaho State owned a 37-36 lead with 16:20 to go before Weber State went on an 8-0 run. The Wildcats never relinquished the lead.
The Wildcats finished the game shooting 48.1 percent from the field, including 34.6 percent on three-pointers.
Seikou Sisoho Jawara and Koby McEwen each had 23 points to lead Weber State.

With the win, the Wildcats improved to 12-5, including a 5-1 record in Big Sky contests.
Weber State’s next game is at home against Idaho State on Thursday, January 20 at 7 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
