Exacte Jr. announced his decision on Instagram during Utah’s game against Arizona on Saturday evening.
“First of all, I would like to thank God for blessing me with this amazing opportunity. Without him I wouldn’t be in this position,” Exacte posted. “I would also like to thank my loving parents for supporting me through my ups and downs. You both have always pushed me to be the best version of myself and shaped me to be the man that I am today. I want to thank my cousin Gandhi for putting the ball in my hands at a young age. Without him, I wouldn’t be living this basketball dream. When it comes to Ronald I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. All those countless hours we spent in the gym is finally paying off. The love I have for you Ronald and Gandhi is indescribable.
“I want to thank College Notre Dame, Sun Youth, Canada Elite and the NBA Academy for always making me exceed my limits and for pushing me to become a better player every single day. I would also like to thank Coach Jerome, Coach Rodney, Coach Kevin, Coach Hernan, Coach Walter, Coach Jay R, Coach Skinner, Coach Melvin and Coach Inti for believing in me and making me fall in love with the game even more. To all my teammates and friends, I want to thank you for supporting me. I want to finish by saying thank you to all the universities who have recruited me but as we all know, I can only choose one. With that being said, I’m truly blessed to announce that I’ve committed to the University of Utah. Go Utes!!”
