Saints QB Taysom Hill Suffers Lisfranc Injury Against Falcons

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill suffered a Lisfranc injury to his left foot during a Week 18 against the Atlanta Falcons, according to head coach Sean Payton via Fox’s Laura Okmin.
The Falcons hosted the Saints on Sunday, January 9.
Hill suffered the injury on a one-yard run with 6:21 left in the first half.

The quarterback was able to walk off the field under his own power. Hill then walked to the locker room without a shoe on his left foot.

Hill suffered a season-ending Lisfranc fracture during BYU’s game against Nebraska in 2015.
When he exited the regular season finale, Hill was 7/9 passing for 107 yards and one touchdown. He added five rushes for 18 yards.
At halftime, the Saints said Hill was questionable to return against Atlanta.

Hill entered the game having thrown for 871 yards, three touchdowns, and five interceptions this season.
