Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Hits Three Early Triples Against Pacers

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell knocked down a trio of early three-pointers during Utah’s game against the Indiana Pacers.
The Pacers hosted the Jazz on Saturday, January 8.
With 10:00 remaining in the opening quarter, Mitchell connected on a 28-foot attempt to give Utah an 8-5 lead.
Less than a minute later, the fifth-year guard buried a triple from 27-feet out.
With 8:19 left in the first quarter, Mitchell hit a 29-foot three to push Utah’s advantage to 14-8.

After the first timeout was called at the 6:17 mark, the Jazz owned a 20-15 lead.
Mitchell had a team-high 11 points on 4-7 shooting, including 3-4 from distance. He added two rebounds, three assists, and a steal during his first six minutes on the court.

This season, Mitchell is averaging 25.5 points per game on 45.4 percent shooting, including 34.0 percent from beyond the arc.
