Rudy Gay, Utah Jazz Catch Fire From Three In First Half Against Nuggets

SALT LAKE CITY – Rudy Gay and the Utah Jazz caught fire from the three-point line in the first half against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.
Coming off the bench, Rudy Gay made three of his first five attempts from beyond the arc for the Jazz. He finished the first 24 minutes of action with nine points. As a team, the Jazz went 10-of-27 from the perimeter, led by Bojan Bogdanovic with 19 points and five rebounds.
Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley each added two triples in the first half. Bogdanovic, Royce O’Neale and Donovan Mitchell each added one triple.

Rudy Gobert missed the game against the Nuggets with a non-COVID illness, which gave Udoka Azubuike his first career start. “Dok” had two points in nine minutes on the floor.
