Jazz Guard Jordan Clarkson Buries Back-To-Back Threes Against Pelicans

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson knocked down consecutive three-pointers during the opening quarter of Utah’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pelicans hosted the Jazz at Smoothie King Center on Monday, January 3.
With 3:44 remaining in the first quarter, Clarkson connected on a 26-foot shot from beyond the arc.

Clarkson’s threes cut New Orleans’ lead to 19-16.
At the end of the first 12 minutes of game time, Utah trailed by a point, 24-23.
During the first quarter, Clarkson had nine points on 3-4 field goals, including 3-4 from deep. He posted a plus-five rating during four minutes on the court.
This season, Clarkson is averaging 15.1 points per game on 39.3 percent shooting, including 30.7 percent from downtown. Clarkson also averages 3.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.2 blocks, and 0.7 steals in 25.5 minutes per contest.
