SALT LAKE CITY – The Arizona Cardinals converted a fake punt play with an insane reception during their game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys hosted the Cardinals at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, January 2.
With 11:08 left in the first half, Arizona decided to go for it on 4th and 2 from its own 38-yard line.
Chris Banjo threw a pass 23 yards down the field to Jonathan Ward, who made a crazy catch off a Cowboy defender for a first down at the Dallas 41-yard line.

A defensive pass interference penalty was called on the play but was declined due to the catch.

Arizona continued to march down the field and capped its 15-play, 91-yard drive with a touchdown to take a 10-0 lead.
At halftime, the Cardinals owned a 13-7 lead.
Arizona entered the contest with a 10-5 record.
