SALT LAKE CITY – Northern Colorado held the Southern Utah Thunderbirds in check to get the 91-81 win.
The Thunderbirds (3-1, 9-5) hosted the Northern Colorado Bears (3-0, 8-7) on Saturday, January 1 at The America First Event Center in Cedar City, UT.
Falling behind by double figures early, the Thunderbirds were unable to claw their way back into the game. A first half run cut the deficit to three at 13-10, but they would get no closer than that.
