PASADENA, Calif. – The University of Utah football team held their traditional Moment of Loudness during the fourth quarter of the Rose Bowl Game against Ohio State.
It’s the second time away from Rice-Eccles Stadium that Utah football has held the Moment of Loudness. The first time was during the Pac-12 Championship game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During a timeout in the fourth quarter of the Rose Bowl, the stadium played the video that is played at every home game between the third and fourth quarter at Rice-Eccles Stadium that is narrated by head coach Kyle Whittingham.

Fans shined their lights and got loud in the Rose Bowl Stadium. The moment of loudness is to honor the lives of Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe. Jordan passed away on Christmas Day in 2020 to an accidental gunshot wound in Denton, Texas. Lowe was tragically shot and killed at a house party in Sugarhouse on Saturday, September 26.
Moment of loudness right now at the #RoseBowl.
Coach Whit said on Friday that he gets choked up every time they do this.
