Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Lighting Up Timberwolves From Three

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has been on fire from downtown, hitting six three’s through three quarters of Utah’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Jazz hosted the Timberwolves at Vivint Arena on Friday, December 31.
Mitchell calmly to the pass from Trent Forrest before using a Rudy Gobert screen to free himself for his sixth triple of the game with 8:23 remaining in the quarter. The shot gave the Jazz a 72-63 lead.
Now 6-8 from three, Mitchell has 25 points, two rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes of action.

Mitchell is averaging 25.4 points, five assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game, along with a career high 1.6 steals per game. His 25.4 points per game is ninth in the league, placing Mitchell between Paul George and Jayson Tatum.
