Koby McEwen’s 31 Points Lifts Weber State Past Montana State

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State men’s basketball team restarted Big Sky play and picked up an 85-75 road win over Montana State on Thursday night.
Koby McEwen led the Wildcats with a WSU career-high 31 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field and 5-for-7 from the three-point line. Dillon Jones chipped in 19 points and six rebounds. J.J. Overton added 16 points.
Jubrile Belo had 22 points and 7 rebounds for Montana State. Xavier Bishop posted 12 points, while Amin Adamu added 10 points.

The game went back-and-forth throughout as there was 12 lead changes and 11 ties. A difference in the game was Weber State scoring 25 points off of 15 Montana State turnovers.
The Wildcats outscored the Bobcats 43-40 in the first half and 42-35 in the second half.
Weber State improved their record to 10-4 overall and 3-0 in Big Sky play. They will continue their road trip on Saturday, January 1 against Montana at 7 p.m. MT on ESPN+.
