Whiteside Dunks Alley-Oop From O’Neale During Jazz/Spurs Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Hassan Whiteside threw down a slam dunk on an alley-oop from Royce O’Neale during Utah’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Spurs hosted the Jazz at AT&T Center on Monday, December 27.
With 4:44 left in the first half, O’Neale lobbed a pass high into the air. Whiteside caught the ball and tossed it through the cylinder with a two-handed dunk.

Whiteside’s jam gave Utah a 45-35 lead.
At halftime, the Jazz owned a 53-43 advantage.
After the first 24 minutes of game time, Whiteside had nine points on 3-4 field goals. He added four rebounds in 10 minutes on the floor.
O’Neale added three points, four rebounds, one assist, and two steals during his first 17 minutes on the court.

This season, Whiteside is averaging 7.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game.

O’Neale entered the contest averaging 7.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per contest.
