SALT LAKE CITY – Utah standout tight end Dalton Kincaid announced on Friday morning that he will return for the 2022 season with the Utes.
It was a breakout season for Dalton Kincaid in 2021 and he wants to return in 2022 to improve his draft stock and try and win another Pac-12 title.
The Las Vegas, Nevada native announced his decision to return on social media on Friday.

Kincaid joined the Utes in 2020 as a transfer from San Diego. In five games last season, Kincaid had one catch for 14 yards. This season, Kincaid hauled in 33 receptions for 465 yards and seven touchdowns. He is third on the team in receptions and yards, while leading the Utes in touchdown catches.
Utah has a stacked tight end room returning in 2022. Cole Fotheringham is the only player in that room that has declared for the 2022 NFL Draft, which leaves Brant Kuithe, Kincaid, Thomas Yassmin, Isaac Vaha and Taniela Pututau returning. The Utes also signed two transfers during the early signing period in Logan Kendall from Idaho and Landon Morris from Syracuse.
