Utah State WR Deven Thompkins Declares For 2022 NFL Draft

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah State Aggies wide receiver Deven Thompkins announced that he will be declaring for the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.
Thompkins shared the news via social media on Thursday, December 23.
“After long talks with my family and God I have decided that I will be taking the next step in furthering my career and start preparing for the NFL Draft,” Thompkins tweeted.

Thompkins played for the Aggies from 2018-21.
The senior from Fort Myers, Florida recorded 171 receptions for 2,519 yards and 15 touchdowns during his USU career. He added 15 rushes for 138 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

This season, Thompkins had a career-high 102 catches for 1,704 yards and 10 touchdowns. He finished the season as the nation’s second-leading receiver in yards.
He also helped USU to an 11-3 record, a Mountain West title, and an LA Bowl victory in 2021.

The 2022 NFL Draft will take place in Paradise, Nevada from April 28–30, 2022.
