Utah Valley Picks Up Road Win In Pac-12 Country

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Valley men’s basketball went on the road and picked up a win over the Pac-12 Conference’s Washington Huskies.
The Huskies hosted the Wolverines on Tuesday, December 21.

The Wolverines and Huskies battled throughout the opening half of basketball in Seattle. Utah Valley took a three-point advantage into the locker room at halftime, 30-27.
With 13:41 remaining in the second half, the Wolverines owned a four-point lead before Le’Tre Darthard hit a pair of three-pointers to stretch UVU’s lead to double figures.
After that, it was all Wolverines.
Utah Valley extended its lead to 16 points over the final minutes of action and captured a double-digit road victory.

The Wolverines finished the contest shooting 43.4 percent from the field, including 36.4 percent from beyond the arc. Darthard led UVU with 16 points, two rebounds, and one steal.
Utah Valley limited UW to 35.2 percent shooting overall and 0-11 on three-point attempts.
With the win, UVU improved to a 9-3 record.
Utah Valley’s next game is at home against Abilene Chrisitan on Thursday, December 30 at 6 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
