SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson played some backyard football on a play before capping the drive with a QB sneak touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins hosted the Jets on Sunday, December 19.

With 12:00 left in the first half, Wilson scrambled to avoid defenders before connecting with Ryan Griffin for 23 yards.

Four plays later, Wilson kept the ball for a one-yard quarterback sneak that resulted in a score.

The run was Wilson’s third rushing touchdown of the season.

After the touchdown, Wilson was 8/11 passing for 95 yards. He added one carry for one yard and a touchdown on the ground.

The former BYU star entered the game having thrown for 1,741 yards, six touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season.

New York’s game against Miami is televised on CBS.
