Calvin Tyler Jr. Runs In Touchdown Against Former Team In LA Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah State running back Calvin Tyler Jr. ran in a touchdown against his former team Oregon State in the second quarter of the LA Bowl.
On second down in the red zone, Calvin Tyler Jr. ran in a 15-yard touchdown to give Utah State their first lead of the game, 14-10 with 4:24 remaining in the first half.
Tyler spent four season with Oregon State before entering the transfer portal and joining Utah State for the 2021 season. He scored his seventh touchdown of the season and is over 800 yards rushing in 2021.

Oregon State scored first as Jesiah Irish ran in a 20-yard touchdown just 52 seconds into the game. Utah State responded when Cooper Legas found Deven Thompkins for a 62-yard TD on his first career pass attempt. OSU made a field goal before the Aggies took their first lead of the game.
