Cooper Legas’ First Career Pass Is Long TD To Deven Thompkins In LA Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Orem High School star Cooper Legas threw his first career pass with Utah State that resulted in a touchdown to Deven Thompkins.
Cooper Legas came in for Logan Bonner, who was injured, when he threw a 62-yard touchdown pass to Deven Thompkins.
That play tied the LA Bowl with Oregon State at seven apiece with 14:42 remaining in the second quarter.

Thompkins hauled in his 10th touchdown grab of the season and surpassed 1,600 receiving yards in 2021.
Oregon State took the lead early as J. Irish ran in a 20-yard touchdown just 52 seconds into the game.
