SALT LAKE CITY – The Los Angeles Rams announced that former Utah Utes defensive back Terrell Burgess and former Weber State defensive end Jonah Williams have been placed on the team’s COVID-19/Reserve list.

Burgess and Williams were two of the seven Rams placed on the list on Tuesday, December 14.

The former local standouts joined the large group of NFL players placed on COVID-19/Reserve lists following Week 14 of the season.

The NFL has been heavily hit by COVID-19 in recent days.

Burgess has posted five total tackles and two solo tackles in 13 games this season.

In 2021, Williams has recorded five total tackles and one solo tackle in eight games played.

The Rams currently own a 9-4 record and sit in second place in the NFC West.

Los Angeles’ next game is at home against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, December 19 at 2:25 p.m. (MDT) on FOX.
