Todd McShay Predicts Utah LB Devin Lloyd As Top-15 Pick In First Mock Draft

SALT LAKE CITY – ESPN NFL Draft insider Todd McShay predicted Utah Utes linebacker Devin Lloyd as a top-15 pick in his first 2022 NFL mock draft.
McShay unveiled his first mock draft for the opening round on Tuesday, December 14.
Lloyd was listed as a top-15 pick in the first round of McShay’s predictions.

The ESPN reporter said that Lloyd could “quickly become a QB on defense” in the league.
Lloyd has had a remarkable 2021 season with the Utes. He helped Utah to a 10-3 record, the first Pac-12 title in program history, and a first-ever Rose Bowl Game bid.

This season, Lloyd has recorded 107 total tackles, 63 solo tackles, six pass breakups, seven sacks, one forced fumble, four interceptions, and two touchdowns.
During his four-year college career, the Chula Vista, California native has posted 252 total tackles, 147 solo tackles, eight pass breakups, 15.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, five interceptions, and three touchdowns.
The 2022 NFL Draft will take place in Paradise, Nevada from April 28–30, 2022.
