Donovan Mitchell Double-Clutches, Drains Buzzer-Beater Against Wolves

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell double-clutched the ball before sinking a three-pointer during Utah’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Wolves hosted the Jazz at Target Center on Wednesday, December 8.
With 10:01 remaining in the opening quarter, Mitchell hung in the air and double-clutching the ball to avoid Minnesota defenders before releasing a shot.
Mitchell saw the ball sail through the cylinder as the 24-second shot clock expired.

The triple cut Minnesota’s lead to 8-5.
During the first 8:28 of game time, Mitchell had a game-high 14 points on 5-7 shooting, including 2-4 from beyond the arc. He added one rebound during his first eight minutes on the court.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 24.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
