Utah G Lazar Stefanovic Named Pac-12 Freshman Of The Week

SALT LAKE CITY – The Pac-12 announced on Monday afternoon that Utah guard Lazar Stefanovic has been named Conference Freshman of the Week.
It’s the first career player of the week honor for Lazar Stefanovic and the first for Utah since Branden Carlson won Player of the Week on February 10, 2020.
Stefanovic averaged 7.5 points, 4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in Utah’s two games this past week, which was a loss at USC and a home win over California.

The Belgrade, Serbia native dropped 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from the three-point line, along with six rebounds and three assists in Utah’s win over Cal.
Utah will play three games in the next seven days, beginning with a road contest against TCU at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Wednesday, December 8 at 6 p.m. MT on ESPN+.
