Mitchell scored at least 30 points in all three outings, marking the fifth time in his career he’s had three consecutive 30 point games. The guard has had at least five assists in his late eight games, the longest stretch of his career.
Overall, the Jazz have won eight of their last 10 games and sit comfortably in the third seed in the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors, and are tied with the Brooklyn Nets for the third-best record in the NBA at 16-7.
This is the third time Mitchell has been named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week after earning the honors in January and March of 2019.
Mitchell is the second Jazz player to earn the honors this season after teammate Rudy Gobert was named Player of the Week for the final week of October.
Rudy Gobert has been named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week for the second time in his career.

Gobert was the first Jazzman to win the award since forward Bojan Bogdanovic was named the Western Conference Player of the Week in May of last season. That was the second time Bogdanovic earned the award after being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week with the Indiana Pacers in 2019.
Fellow Jazz players Mike Conley and Hassan Whiteside have won Player of the Week awards at previous stops in their careers.
For the season, Mitchell is averaging 24.2 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.1 rebounds while shooting 44 percent from the floor and 34 percent from the three-point line.
Chicago Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
