Bonner, Bowling Connect For Deep Touchdown In Mountain West Title Game

CARSON, Calif. – Utah State quarterback Logan Bonner connected with Brandon Bowling to a 58-yard touchdown in the Mountain West Conference Championship game against the San Diego State Aztecs.
The No. 19 Aztecs hosted the Aggies at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, December 4.
With 13:09 remaining in the third quarter, Bonner unloaded a deep pass to a wide-open Bowling.
The receiver ran to the end zone for a Utah State touchdown.

The Bonner-Bowling connection gave Utah State a 21-3 lead.
The score capped a five-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 1:51.
After the play, Bonner was 19/28 passing for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Bonner entered the game having thrown for 3,242 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions this season.
Bowling led USU’s receivers with five catches for 128 yards and a touchdown. He came to California with 44 catches for 630 yards and seven touchdowns in 2021.
