USU RB Calvin Tyler Jr. Powers For TD In Mountain West Title Game

CARSON, Calif. – Utah State running back Calvin Tyler Jr. punched the ball into the end zone to extend the Aggies’ lead over the San Diego State Aztecs in the Mountain West Conference Championship game.
The No. 19 Aztecs hosted the Aggies at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, December 4.
With 4:57 left in the second quarter, Tyler powered his way for one yard and six Utah State points.

Tyler’s run extended USU’s lead to 14-0.
The score capped a six-play, 63-yard drive that lasted 1:31.
After the run, Tyler had seven carries for 16 yards and a touchdown.

Tyler Jr. entered the game with 153 rushes for 723 yards and five touchdowns this season.
