Utah RB Tavion Thomas Walks Into End Zone To Start Pac-12 Title Game

LAS VEGAS – Utah Utes running back Tavion Thomas walked into the end zone for an opening drive touchdown against the Oregon Ducks.
The No. 17 Utes and No. 10 Ducks played in the Pac-12 Conference Championship game at Allegiant Stadium on Friday, December 3.
With 10:47 remaining in the first quarter, Thomas waltzed two yards into the end zone for six points and the game’s first score.

The score capped a nine-play, 61-yard opening drive by the Utes. The possession lasted 4:13.
After the run, Thomas had two carries for three yards and a touchdown. It was Thomas’ 19th rushing touchdown of the season.

Thomas entered the game with 168 carries for 978 yards and 18 touchdowns this season.
The Pac-12 title game between Utah and Oregon is broadcast on ABC and 700 AM.
