Dixie State Dominates Bethesda For Second Straight Win

SALT LAKE CITY – The Dixie State men’s basketball team blew out the Bethesda Flames for their second consecutive victory.
The Trailblazers hosted the Flames for the second of back-to-back contests on Wednesday, December 1.
Dixie State dominated Bethesda, 99-67.

The Blazers crushed the Flames during both halves of the contest.
After the opening 20 minutes of action, Dixie State owned a 48-34 lead.

Over the final 20 minutes of game time, the Trailblazers stretched their lead and won by 32 points.
Dixie State finished the game shooting 46.9 percent overall and 33.3 percent on three-pointers.
Five players scored in double-digits in the win.
Cameron Gooden led the Blazers with 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and a block.
With the victory, the Trailblazers improved their record to 3-5 this season.
Dixie State’s next game is against St. Katherine on Satruday, December 4 at 7 p.m. (MDT). The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
