Utah State Takes Care Of Carroll College For Sixth Straight Win

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies are rolling to start the season after picking up a 93-63 win over Carroll College (Mont.) on Monday night.
After losing their season opener against UC Davis, Utah State has rattled off six straight wins. The Aggies took care of business from the opening tip to the final horn on Monday.
They started the game strong by outscoring Carroll College 55-31 in the first half and coasted to the win by outscoring them 38-32 in the second half.
Five Utah State players reached double figures in scoring, led by Brandon Horvath with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor. Justin Bean notched another double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in just 24 minutes on the floor. Zee Hamoda dropped 15 points off the bench, while Brock Miller posted 11 points and three rebounds.

Szymon Zapala added 10 points with the second unit.
Utah State shot 57% from the field, 37% from the three-point line and 73% from the free throw line. They outrebounded Carroll College 42-24 and pulled down 12 offensive boards.
The Aggies moved their record to 6-1 on the season. They will return to The Spectrum on Thursday, December 2 to face Saint Mary’s at 7 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network and The Zone Sports Network.
