SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell took a loose ball the other way and threw down his signature one-handed slam dunk against the Trail Blazers.
The ball went away from Portland when Donovan Mitchell took it and coasted the other way, finishing with a right-handed jam. Anfernee Simons threw a bad pass that didn’t reach Damian Lillard and Mitchell capitalized.
Through three quarters, Mitchell had 23 points, five assists and four steals on 10-of-16 shooting from the field and 3-for-6 from the three-point line.
