Reports: USC Hires Oklahoma’s Lincoln Riley As Next Head Football Coach

SALT LAKE CITY – Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley agreed to become the next head coach for the USC Trojans football program, according to multiple reports.
Riley, 38, has served as the Sooners’ head coach since taking over for Bob Stoops in 2017.
During his time leading Oklahoma, the Sooners have a 55-10 record, including 1-3 in bowl games. Oklahoma has captured four Big 12 Conference titles during Riley’s tenure.

Riley has led OU to the College Football Playoff three times. The Sooners are 0-3 in the Playoff.
USC will be Riley’s second head coaching job.
He will be taking over a Trojans program that is currently 4-7 this season with one game remaining.
The Trojans last played in the Rose Bowl in 2016. USC’s last Pac-12 Conference championship came in 2017.
