BYU TE Isaac Rex Carted Off Field After Suffering Ankle Injury Against USC

LOS ANGELES – BYU tight end Isaac Rex suffered a right ankle injury and was carted off the field during the Cougars’ game against the USC Trojans.
The Trojans hosted the No. 13 Cougars at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, November 27.
With 5:50 left in the first half, BYU quarterback Jaren Hall threw a pass into the back of the end zone that was intended for Rex.
After leaping for the ball, Rex rolled his ankle after landing awkwardly on his right foot.
Following attention from medical personnel, Rex was carted off the field.

As the cart was driving towards the corner of the stadium, Rex made a shaka hand gesture as the crowd applauded the San Clemente, California native.
This season, Rex has 18 receptions for 191 yard and three touchdowns.
