Utah’s Cam Rising, Britain Covey Connect For Touchdown Against CU

SALT LAKE CITY – Utes quarterback Cam Rising and wide receiver Britain Covey connected for a touchdown during Utah’s game against the Colorado Buffaloes.
The No. 19 Utes hosted the Buffaloes at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Friday, November 26.
With 6:45 remaining in the third quarter, Rising dumped the ball off to Covey rather than run it himself.
The junior wideout took the ball 13 yards up the field and into the end zone for six points.

The touchdown stretched Utah’s lead to 28-13.
The Rising-Covey connection capped a five-play, 50-yard drive that lasted 2:26.
After the score, Rising was 11/16 passing for 157 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Rising entered the game having thrown for 1,930 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions this season.

Covey had five catches for 72 yards and touchdowns. He came into the game with 39 receptions for 336 yards and a touchdown.
Utah’s game against Colorado is broadcast on FOX and 700 AM.
