Utah/Oregon Game Brought In Impressive Television Ratings

SALT LAKE CITY – Three days after Utah beat No. 3 Oregon on Saturday night in primetime, ESPN/ABC released the ratings from that game.
Utah knocked off Oregon 38-7 at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday in the primetime ABC window.
According to ESPN, that game was the most-viewed Pac-12 regular season conference game since 2014. ABC won the night in primetime among all of the other networks.
The games on ABC and ESPN during that window were the top two networks in primetime among all key male/adult demographics for three straight weeks. Utah/Oregon averaged 4.5 million viewers on Saturday, which is the fourth-best day of the season and +81% from 2019. The broadcast ended up having 4.8 million viewers.

Utah jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first half after Britain Covey returned a punt for a 78-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter. The Utes coasted in the second half by outscoring Oregon 10-7. The win over Oregon was the highest ranked opponent that the Utes have beat in program history.
Utah will wrap up their regular season schedule with Senior Day on Friday, November 26 against Colorado at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. MT on FOX.
