Utah Valley Blows Out Idaho For Fourth Straight Win

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Valley men’s basketball team torched the Idaho Vandals to earn a fourth straight victory after falling in the season opener.
The Wolverines and Vandals played in the SoCal Challenge at JSerra Pavillion in San Juan Capistrano, California on Monday, November 22.
UVU beat Idaho, 83-45.

The Wolverines blitzed the Vandals early and took a 25-point lead into the locker room at halftime.
Utah Valley coasted in the second half and won by 38 points.
The Wolverines finished the game shooting 48.5 percent overall and despite only 16.7 percent from beyond the arc.
Fardaws Aimaq and Connor Harding led UVU with 14 points apiece.

Utah Valley held Idaho to 25.5 percent shooting from the field, including 12.5 percent from distance.
With the win, the Wolverines improved to a 4-1 record this season.
Utah Valley’s next game is against the Nicholls Colonels on Wednesday, November 24 at 3:30 p.m. (MDT).
