Jazz Center Hassan Whiteside Throws Down Alley-Oop Dunk Despite Foul

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz center Hassan Whiteside threw down a big slam dunk despite getting fouled on the play by the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Jazz hosted the Grizzlies at Vivint Arena on Monday, November 22.
With 3:14 left in the opening quarter, Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell lobbed the ball to a flying Whiteside.
The Jazz center crushed the rim with a jam while being fouled by Memphis’ Desmond Bane.

At the end of the first quarter, the Jazz owned a 30-27 lead.
Whiteside had had a team-high eight points on 3-5 field goals. He added two rebounds in four minutes off the bench.

This season, Whiteside is averaging 7.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 16.4 minutes per contest.
