SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings waited through a nearly 15-minute delay in the fourth quarter as cleaning crews had to clear vomit from the floor.
A Kings fan sitting courtside threw up on the floor shortly into the fourth quarter with the Jazz building a big lead over the Kings.
The fan was sitting near the Jazz bench when the delay occurred which sent players from both teams scrambling to get away from the mess. The fan appeared to throw up multiple times while sitting near the bench.

“I hope he was okay,” Jazz center Rudy Gobert said after the game.
“I actually made eye contact with him, too. He was smiling — he was smiling and throwing up at the same time.”
After vomiting on the floor, the fan had to be removed from the arena.
“A drunk fan has puked on the court,” Kings beat writer James Ham tweeted. “He was escorted out and it was a hot mess.”
Originally, it appeared a drink had spilled on the floor, but players quickly put on their masks as they returned to their benches or pulled their jerseys over their noses to ward off the smell.

As the delay stretched on, players from both teams began to laugh at the bizarre situation, with players mugging for the cameras and sharing jokes as the Kings cleaning crew cleared the floor.
Jazz players Hassan Whiteside and Eric Paschall recreated the event as they laughed with each other, while guard Mike Conley shook his head in disbelief at the scene.

Both teams were given the option to warm up once again after the long delay but opted to get back to action quickly with the game almost out of hand in the Jazz favor.
The Jazz returned to the floor after the vomit was cleared and built their lead to 20 over the Kings before coasting to an easy 123-105 victory.
