Utah RB Tavion Thomas Bursts For Third Touchdown Against Oregon

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Utes running back Tavion Thomas powered his way into the end zone for a third touchdown against the Oregon Ducks.
The No. 23 Utes hosted the No. 3 Ducks at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, November 20.
With 3:56 remaining in the third quarter, Thomas broke out the backfield for five yards and across the goal line for his third touchdown of the game.
Thomas’ score extended Utah’s lead to 35-7.

After the run, the sophomore running back had 19 carries for 81 yards and three touchdowns.
Thomas’ first score of the game came during the opening quarter.
He set a new school record for rushing touchdowns in a single season with another scoring run in the second quarter.
The Dayton, Ohio product entered the game with 122 carries for 742 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground this season.
