Utah’s Britain Covey Sprints For TD On Punt Return Against Oregon

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Utes specialist and wide receiver Britain Covey sprinted down the sideline for a touchdown on a punt return against the Oregon Ducks.
The No. 23 Utes hosted the No. 3 Ducks at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, November 20.
With 11 seconds left in the first half, the Utes called timeout and force the Ducks to punt the ball.
Covey caught the kick and ran to the far sideline before sprinting 78 yards to the end zone for six points as the game clock expired to close the second quarter.

The score stretched Utah’s lead to 28-0.
It was Covey’s second return for a touchdown this season and the fourth of his college career.

At halftime, Covey had two catches for 26 yards, one kick return for 34 yards, and two punt returns for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Utah’s game against Oregon is broadcast on ABC and 700 AM.
