Weber State Wraps Up Season With Blowout Win Over Northern Colorado

SALT LAKE CITY – The Weber State Wildcats finished their regular season schedule with a blowout victory over the Northern Colorado Bears.
The Wildcats hosted the Bears at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah on Saturday, November 20.
Weber State crushed UNC, 48-17.

Bears quarterback Dylan McCaffrey was injured early in the contest and the loss impacted UNC’s offense throughout the contest.
The Wildcats started their scoring with an early field goal in the first quarter. The Bears answered with a field goal of their own to make it a 3-3 game at the end of the first 15 minutes of game time.
Northern Colorado took the lead on a touchdown early in the second quarter before Weber State responded.
With 8:18 left in the first half, the Wildcats returned an interception for a touchdown to knot the scoreboard at 10-10.

Two minutes later, the Bears regained the lead with another touchdown.
After that score, it was all Weber State.
The Wildcats scored a pair of touchdowns during the final minute of the second quarter and took a 24-17 lead in the locker room at halftime.

Weber State took control of the game with three touchdowns during the third quarter.

Two of the scores came on pick-six plays, which gave the Wildcats three interceptions for touchdowns in the contest.

With the win, the Wildcats improved their record to 6-5 this season.
