Reports: Broncos Finalizing Extension With Former Utah WR Tim Patrick

SALT LAKE CITY – The Denver Broncos are finalizing a multi-year contract extension with former Utah Utes wide receiver Tim Patrick, according to multiple reports.
On Friday, November 19, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Patrick’s new deal would be worth up to $34.5 million over three years with $18.5 million in guaranteed money.

“Per sources, Broncos are finalizing a three-year contract extension with WR Tim Patrick,” 9News’ Mike Klis tweeted. “What a great American story of redemption. Rough family upbringing, oft-injured in college, undrafted, cut 3 times. Has become Broncos most dependable receiver the past 3 years.”

Before his time in the NFL, Patrick played at the University of Utah from 2014-16. He went joined Denver’s roster after going undrafted in 2017.
Patrick is currently in his fourth NFL season, all with the Broncos.
This season, Patrick has 37 catches for 523 yards and four touchdowns. During his career, Patrick has recorded 127 receptions for 1,798 yards and 11 touchdowns in 49 games.

The Broncos currently own a 5-5 record this season.
