Utah State WR Deven Thompkins Named Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist

SALT LAKE CITY – The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Utah State wide receiver Deven Thompkins as a semifinalist for the 2021 Biletnikoff Award.
10 semifinalists for the honor were chosen on Monday, November 15.
The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the top receiver in college football.
Thompkins is the first Aggie to be named a semifinalist for the award since Kevin Curtis in 2001.

Deven Thompkins in 2021
Through the first 10 games of Utah State’s schedule, Thompkins has been torching defenses.
The senior wide receiver has recorded 77 receptions for 1,441 yards and eight touchdowns.
Thompkins’ 1,441 receiving yards lead the nation. Western Kentucky’s Jerreth Sterns is behind Thompkins with 1,368 receiving yards.

Thompkins has helped the Aggies to an 8-2 record.
Utah State’s next game is against Wyoming on Saturday, November 20 at 6 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and The Zone Sports Network (1280 AM).
