Chiefs DB Daniel Sorensen Picks Off Derek Carr For First Interception Of 2021

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU Cougars and current Kansas City Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen intercepted Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr for his first pick of the season.
The Raiders hosted the Chiefs for Sunday Night Football on November 14.
With 0:19 remaining in the third quarter, Carr threw up a prayer that sailed down the field into the arms of Sorensen.
It was the former BYU standout’s first interception of the season and the 11th of his NFL career.

At the time of Sorensen’s pick, the Chiefs owned a 27-14 lead.
This season, Sorensen has recorded 40 total tackles, 30 solo tackles, one sack, two pass breakups, and one interception.
