Derek Wright Sneaks Past Defender For Long Utah State TD Grab

SALT LAKE CITY – Derek Wright made a great touchdown grab early in the fourth quarter to give Utah State a commanding lead over San Jose State.
Utah State quarterback Logan Bonner threw the ball deep, allowing Derek Wright to adjust his route and sneak in front of the defensive back and caught the touchdown pass.
That gave the Aggies a 38-17 lead with 10:17 to play in the game. It’s the second touchdown grab by Wright in the game to go with three catches for 50 yards.

Bonner threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game to go with his 263 yards. On the season, Bonner threw his 25th touchdown pass, while Wright now has seven TD receptions.
Utah State trailed 14-0 in the second quarter when they scored 24 unanswered in the period to take a 24-14 lead into the halftime break.
