Utah State Starts Second Half With TD Pass From Bonner To Bowling

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah State carried their momentum from the second quarter into the third with a touchdown on their first possession of the second half.
After San Jose State made a field goal early in the third, Utah State went down the field in eight plays that ended with a five-yard touchdown pass from Logan Bonner to Brandon Bowling.
That gave the Aggies a 31-17 lead with 7:12 to play in the third quarter.

Bonner threw his third touchdown pass to that point in the game. That was the third catch of the game for Bowling to go with 25 yards and one TD. On the season, Bonner threw his 24th touchdown pass, while Bowling caught his fifth score.
Utah State trailed 14-0 in the second quarter when they scored 24 unanswered in the period to take a 24-14 lead into the halftime break.
